With such a massive space, I really do think Labs could provide furniture more conducive for professional collaboration and desks/tables for working. If we wanted the small coffee table and low seating, we could have just gone to Starbucks! Paid 30GBP for a day pass. Beautiful decor as well as complimentary tea and coffee. My issues was around the use of space and amount of people there. My colleagues and I were looking for a table or booth to work at together and they were all full. We ended up settling at one of the tiny round coffee tables scattered along the edge of the main room. A very tight fit and nowhere to put anything aside form our 3 laptops. Along the glass windows are single chairs with tiny coffee tables. Not suitable for desk work at all. In addition, the centre of the room is filled with loungy sofas and more coffee tables. Not an area that induces a working environment. More of a lounge/chill/nap vibe. To no surprise, they were all empty!
